Job Description:   


Requirements Analyst is responsible for leading requirements gathering activities, establishing relationships with agency stakeholders and teammates, facilitating requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders to identify business requirements and with developers to identify software requirements. Analyst must follow agency Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) methodology. Analyst will develop use cases as per the agency iterative methodology following the Agile/Scrum path.

Duties:  

  • Develop detailed use cases from high level business requirements delivered from external organizations – 40%
  • Own the requirements management process, leading business and software requirements elicitation sessions – 20%
  • Update the Business System Requirements Report and other requirements-related deliverables – 20%
  • Maintain requirements in requirements management tool – 20%


REQUIRED SKILLS:

Job Description:   


This individual will act as the Database Modeler for the project and will provide technical guidance to develop, update, and maintain relational databases in ORACLE RAC and Linux environment. The Database environment for the project is Oracle and for the data sources, it will vary depending upon the data source.  Prior experience with Oracle databases as DBA and developer will be required. 


Duties:  


  • Provide end-to-end vision, showing how the project’s logical design will translate into one or more physical databases. This includes data flows. In support of this function, the contractor shall perform data analysis, modeling, integration and warehousing functions – 25%
  • Provide support to the project team to convert business and functional requirements to design, develop, validate, and implement logical and physical data models. This includes both relational and dimensional models– 50%
  • Provide support in the development and maintenance of data dictionaries – 20%
  • Support compliance with agency data management standards. – 5%

Job Description:  


This individual will act as the Oracle Database Developer for the project and will development activities to design and develop relational databases in ORACLE RAC and Linux environment. The Database environment for the project is Oracle and this individual will provide technical support and suggest the best hands on practices and demonstrate hands on experiences to guide team to develop a secure database application as per agency security policy.  Prior experience with Oracle databases as a developer will be required.  This is a hands-on oracle database developer role for development environment and is not a production support DBA role.


Duties:  


·         Provide technical guidance to develop, update, and maintain CDR relational databases running in ORACLE RAC and Linux environment - 25%
·         Provide support on a wide range of database administration functions in a RAC configuration, including running test queries, troubleshooting database problems, maintaining version control of database entities, advising customers on new database features, and leading studies to evaluate the effectiveness of current database methods and procedures, investigation of issues arising from data loss and corruption. -  25%
·         Provide support to coordinate, organize and deliver DDLs generated to solve Data Change Requests (DCR) - 20%
·         Provide support in monitoring and optimizing database performance and tuning database operations both proactively and reactively -  10%
·         Provide support to co-ordinate, organize and deliver database code - 10%

3.     Demonstrated experience as DBA (creation and maintenance of the database, DDL/DML, back-up/restore strategy, replication strategy) and Data developer (creating stored procedures, triggers, supporting application development teams) in the Oracle environment  - 8 years

Job Description:  



This individual will act as the ETL Developer for the project and will be responsible for developing ETL application using Informatica.  This position requires demonstrated experience using the Informatica Suite of tools including Power Center, B2B, and Power. This position will develop Extract, Transformation and Loading (ETL) procedures for implementing data integration and data loading tasks in support of CDR Data Repository from agency and non-agency data sources.  The Database environment for the project is Oracle and for the data sources, it will vary depending upon the data source.  Prior experience with SQL on Oracle databases will be required. 


Duties:  


  • Develop new ETL application using Informatica Power Center to load large amount of data from multiple data sources into Repository using Oracle database  – 40%
  • Develop Data Integration procedures using Informatica suite of tools including B2B and Power Exchange – 10%
  • Develop SQL programs and Stored Procedures as required for the ETL processes and Data Integration activities – 10%
·         Provide support to technical team, write the necessary required documentation as per the IRS development methodology for ETL processes, and Develop unit test plan, test cases and resolve ETL related test problems – 20%
·         Coordinate, plan, communicate, develop and review client presentations and documentation required under the agency Enterprise Lifecycle – 10%

This person will design the appropriate interface interactions for each, while being cognizant of opportunities for reuse and standardization of interactions across applications.


Duties:  


  • Coordinate and lead interface design sessions across the Project team as well as across multiple internal agency and external organizations (insurance exchanges, Health and Human Services, Treasury, Employers, Insurers. – 50%
  • Work with the application teams to understand the nature of interfaces and the architecture of the application. Design the appropriate interface interactions for each, while being cognizant of opportunities for reuse and standardization of interactions across applications – 25%
  • Implement standards-setting for interfaces with application interaction which make best use o existing standards for interfaces, messaging formats, and service deployment – 10%
  • Provide input to data modeling activities, based on application needs – 15%

  • Develop and implement source code configuration strategy and policy. Branch and merge source code; establish procedures to effectively manage the functions of change control; and configure and maintain software baseline library using Rational ClearCase– 50%
  • Support development and maintenance of Configuration Management Reports to document changes and updates to development, test, and production environments for each build, sprint, and release in the iterative development lifecycle – 25%
  • Generate Configuration Management Reports including code changes resulting from changes to CPE systems, code change that impact CPE systems, code changes that impact other projects,  project code changes that impact projects, Code changes from defects and Change Requests, Linkages and dependencies for all changes– 25%

  • Develop and maintain deployment scripts and procedures to support building, deploying and integrating database DDLs/Scripts and Java applications in a Redhat Linux environment using VM Ware's Virtual Environment, including J2EE architecture (webMethods, JavaAPI), GreenPum and Informatica.– 50%

Job Duty 1 with 40% of time - Support performance test execution in development, test, and production environments for each build, sprint, and release in the iterative development lifecycle.

Job Duty 2 with 20% of time - Support the design and development of a test strategy to perform environment and system integration validation; including ETL, using Informatica, Java Data Access, and web services technology.

Job Duty 3 with 20% of time - Support development and maintenance of unit test cases; test cases and/or user stories; and test reports.

Job Duty 4 with 10% of time - Support the development and maintenance of Defect Reports for development, test, and production environments for each build, sprint, and release in the iterative development lifecycle.
